Israeli Strike on Syria Anti Aircraft Battery After Missile Attack, New US Deal Boosts F 35 Fleet
Israel is set to buy its third fleet of F-35 fighter jets in a deal worth $3bn that will be financed through US military aid. Israel’s Ministry of Defence approved the purchase with the additional 25 aircraft manufactured by Lockheed Martin. On July 2, Israeli fighter jets launched an attack on a Syrian air defence battery which launched an anti-aircraft missile towards Israel. Syrian state media said the country’s air defences shot down some of the missiles fired by Israeli warplanes flying over Lebanon. However, the Israeli military said a Syrian anti-aircraft missile exploded over Israeli territory, prompting another round of strikes. The IDF made a deliberate decision to allow the Syrian missile which exploded in the South to traverse most of the country.

Meanwhile, An Israeli security think tank claims Iran has built a massive underground missile base in a mountain fortress outside the city of Kermanshah.

Israeli Strike on Syria Anti Aircraft Battery After Missile Attack, New US Deal Boosts F 35 Fleet, israel news, israel air force, israel airstrike syria, syria airstrike, syrian misisle explodes over israel, syria israel, syria israel war, syria israel attack, syria israel conflict, israel buys f 35,f 35 israel,us israel f35 deal, israeli airstrike on syria, iran underground missile base, iran underground base, syria missile attack, syria missile strike, syrian missile over israel, syrian missile enters israel, syria attack by israel, iran underground missile
